What does the LinkedIn Optimizer do?+
It scores your profile out of 100 — headline, About, experience and skills — against the terms recruiters search for your target role, shows exactly what each problem is costing you, then rewrites the sections you choose to fix.
Do I have to type my profile in?+
No. With the extension installed we read it straight from LinkedIn in one click. Without it, choose More → Save to PDF on your profile and drop that file in — though the export only carries your top three skills, so the skills section is scored gently.
Will it change my actual LinkedIn profile?+
Nothing changes without you. The extension is read-only: it never edits, posts or writes anything. We generate the rewritten text and you paste it in yourself, section by section.
Will it make up achievements?+
No — and that is checked in code, not just asked for. Every number in a rewrite has to already appear somewhere in your profile. Anything invented is flagged and withheld rather than shown to you as finished text.
