Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor system performance, servers, and applications to ensure uptime and reliability * Perform basic Linux system administration tasks (user management, file permissions, process monitoring) * Assist in troubleshooting system, network, and application issues * Support deployment and release activities for applications * Write simple scripts (Shell/Python) to automate routine operational tasks * Work with logs to identify issues and escalate when required * Maintain documentation of processes, incidents, and configurations * Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems (commands, file systems, permissions) * Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS basics) * Familiarity with any programming in language * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Good communication and willingness to learn
Education
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field (or equivalent practical knowledge)
Experience
* 0 to 6 months (Internship experience in Linux/TechOps/Support is a plus)
