KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Undertake hydraulic design and analysis of rural drinking water supply systems, including source-to-service delivery infrastructure. * Develop and review hydraulic models for transmission and distribution networks. * Determine design flows, pipe diameters, pumping requirements, storage capacities, and pressure zones. * Carry out surge analysis and recommend appropriate surge protection measures. * Review designs, drawings, calculations, and contractor submissions to ensure technical compliance. * Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline design teams for integrated project delivery. * Support optimization of water supply schemes to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. * Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and project planning activities. * Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and performance verification of water supply systems. * Prepare hydraulic design reports, technical notes, and project documentation.
